the 20s are over…

well, i’m officially thirty. omg. weird cuz i still feel like i’m 16. speaking of being 16, i was telling wc that the only good bdays i will remember are probably my 16th and 30th. 16th b/c my parents were on one of their many asia trips with me home alone in the house for months and i had all my good friends over for food and movies. and 30th b/c well, i really didn’t want to celebrate it and despite trying to avoid any sorts of celebration, it turned out to be fun. i suppose it’s nice to feel loved. highlights of the day included roses from wc, flowers from FDs, lunch w/coworkers, surprise cake “meeting” with my team, yummy french food with some of the best souffle i have ever had, another surprise ice cream cake w/eliao and wc, and my new nikon d60! woo! despite trying to avoid being sung to all day, eliao and wc brought in some ice cream cake at 1130 and i couldn’t stop them - even though i yelled “NO SINGING!!!”. they wouldn’t listen.

so that was my bday in a nutshell. good times, good times. :)
